As a photographer, I’ve always loved how a wedding is a heightened emotional experience. Everything is intensified - fear that things may not go as planned, sorrow at family or friends no longer with us to share in the celebration, joy at the deep celebration of love and commitment. I’ve said it before, but it really is an incredible privilege to be able to document that for the couples that I shoot for, and to know that years from now the rich emotional experience of their wedding day will be captured in their wedding photographs. That’s pretty flippin’ amazing.
